BOSS RC-600
Right now I am using the Boss RC-600 and loving it so far! There are definitely more complexities, but some new beautiful possibilities!
If you're starting out with looping, a one or two track pedal is a great place to start. Check out a two-track looper HERE

L.R. Baggs Venue DI
A colleague of mine told me to get this DI when I started looping and I have never looked back. The L.R. Baggs is an invaluable tool! From being able to mute your sound, to adjusting your EQ, this device helps to maintain warmth in your sound when it's translated from analogue to digital.

Reverb Pedal

Hall of Fame 2
This small, but mighty pedal has been such an amazing tool particularly when performing in non-traditional spaces. This reverb pedal gives your sound that extra "ring" when playing in not so "ideal" (sound-wise) performance spaces.

Roland Acoustic Chorus Amp
If you're looking for a compact amp for small size performance venues, lessons and practising, I have really enjoyed using this Roland Acoustic Chorus amp! Being the size of a lunch box and weighing about 5 bls, this amp will help maintain warmth in your sound without being too bulky or heavy.

Schatten Viola/Violin Pickup

I was recommended this pickup by two other string colleagues who play amplified and have been really happy with the sound, connection and durability of this pickup.
The staff at the shop in Southwestern Ontario were also really helpful when I had questions :-)

My Viola, AKA "Ruppert"

Ruppert Viola Model
Made in 2011, I started playing on my current instrument in 2015. Both the tone and resonates of this instrument have helped me to communicate and engage in creative storytelling in beautiful ways.
